Wanted! Tips for going live with Tribal SITS

Presenter: Charlotte Verney, Assistant Director (Registry)

Institution: Canterbury Christ Church University

Email: charlotte.verney@canterbury.ac.uk

Format: Seminar/Group Discussion : a session sharing experiences among participants, perhaps with a brief presentation at the start.

Abstract:

This session will be a facilitated discussion, led by Canterbury Christ Church University who are currently moving from the student record system QL, to Tribal SITS, due to go live with student records management in September 2020.

It is aimed at administrative staff who have experienced, or are currently experiencing the implementation of the Tribal SITS product for student record management. Experience may have come from being part a project team, a member of a central service (e.g. registry) or from School/Faculty administration.

The session is designed to be an interactive group discussion to enable participants to share their own experiences of implementing a new student record system. It will be structured to encourage positive reflection and learning to inform current and future implementations within institutions. It will likely focus around three key questions:

  • What has been the biggest challenge so far?
  • What have you and your team learnt about implementing a new student record system?
  • What support have you needed to implement the changes?

Audience:

Administrative staff who have experienced, or are currently experiencing the implementation of the Tribal SITS product for student records management
