A presentation on academic misconduct, the different ways students cheat, such as plagiarism, collusion, contract cheating, falsification, recycling in assignments and cheating in exams. We will also be looking at the way academics respond to the different types of misconduct, the way the students are dealt with through meetings and panels, and cases that may be referred to the OIA. There will also be an exercise where we would like to discuss what Universities can do to avoid so many cases of Academic Misconduct.
