Abstract
‘Action Learning’ is a continuous process of learning and reflection that happens with the support of a group, or ‘set’ of colleagues, working on real issues, with the intention of getting things done (McGill et al, 2004).
Attendees are asked to identify an issue they are experiencing and that they are comfortable discussing. The session will outline the features and benefits of using action learning to evolve critical and creative thinking and enhance problem-solving skills.
Working through the issues in action learning sets, attendees will share ideas and challenge perceptions in a supportive environment.
