With AI-driven fraud on the rise, the integrity of academic verification is under increasing threat. Drawing on new YouGov survey insights, this session explores the growing risks, the need for stronger (and automated) verification processes, and the role of collaboration in tackling these challenges. We'll present perspectives from both universities and background screening agencies, highlighting where the current gaps lie - and how they can be addressed. The key question: are institutions ready to respond?
