The future of certification - is a digital-first approach the way forward?

At Cardiff University, we are considering moving to a digital-first approach to certification where graduates will only be provided with a hard copy certificate upon request and will be charged for this service. In this session we will discuss the benefits to a digital-first approach and possible challenges, what our universities currently offer, have any institutions already transitioned from providing hard copy certificates to digital only and how they did made this transition and what different universities charge for hard-copy and digital certificates.
