The University of Bristol has transformed its delivery of student systems development. In this session, we will talk you through our experience of moving from a waterfall project methodology to the adoption of agile continuous improvement. The session will showcase our journey so far, including creating a Product Owner model which leverages the expertise of operational managers from across the institution, obtaining stakeholder engagement and establishing multi-disciplinary scrums. We will share examples of enhancements we have introduced, lessons learned along the way, and invite attendees to reflect on how a similar approach could be implemented at their institution.
