(e)Vision Quest - Our journey to transform student records

Last year, Staffordshire University completed the first phase of an ambitious project to transform the way student records work. Taking the perspective of making data work for people, we looked at presenting information in the best way to students, staff and externals, looking outside the core records and bringing in other channels. Our goal was to simplify and automate our records. Highlights included development of a sophisticated marks transfer hub, prioritised action centre and multiple user-friendly workflows. This showcases our journey so far, and an opportunity to share the ways we can manage data in an always-connected world.
