In 2018 Loughborough University began a project to transform the way we managed the students’ fees and charges, and associated loan processing.
Over the last 4 years the project team has deconstructed all the processes around calculating tuition fees, processing student loans, and providing information to students on their fees and loans.
This session will walk through the challenges we faced, the decisions we made, and the lessons learned. We'll share our experience and aim to give attendees an insight into ways to approach a project of this size which required collaboration across different departments of the institution.
