SROC24 - Post Conference slides and feedback

I hope you enjoyed last week’s SROC24 in Leeds. It was lovely to see so many people in person; and I know I speak for the rest of the Committee when I say how much we enjoyed the whole experience, and how much we valued your attendance in making the event such a success. Thank you once again to those who presented, contributed, asked questions, and engaged with each other. I hope you’ve all come away fired up with interesting thoughts and new perspectives as a result!

For those that missed the announcement – we are pleased to announce SROC25 will be held at University of Nottingham from 23rd-25th April 2025. If you would like to express your interest in presenting a breakout, then please contact breakout@sroc.ac.uk.

If you would like to go one step further, and are interested in hosting a conference from 2026 onwards, we would also love to hear from you at info@sroc.ac.uk.

To wrap up from this years’ conference, some final points:

  • I’m pleased to be able to share PDF copies of the final presentations here.
  • The post-conference Delegate Survey is available in the GuideBook App for you to complete, and we’d really welcome your feedback. The conference is run for you, with your steer – this is your opportunity to tell us what you thought worked well and what could make it even better for next year. We’ll wrap any feedback received in the next couple of weeks into a post-conference analysis that we’ll use to help plan SROC25!
  • Don’t forget to complete the feedback for the breakout sessions you attended. This can be accessed by clicking on the Breakout Feedback Form in the details for your breakout. A demonstration of how to do this can be found here
  • If you were one of the lucky ones to win a prize from our exhibitors, please contact sroc24@leeds.ac.uk
  • We would love attendees from SROC24 to write a blog about their experience to inspire others, if you are interested in contributing, please contact info@sroc.ac.uk
  • In accordance with the T&Cs you accepted at the point of booking, we’ll be deleting your booking information shortly – this will almost certainly be the final mass-email to Leeds attendees. After this point, we’ll communicate with those of you from HE Providers via the SROC-DELEGATES MAIL list, to which you’ll be added. You can leave that at any time, of course using the link at the bottom of any email. If you’re a member of SROC-CONTACTS – the general mail group for SROC – you’ll get the same emails anyway, so no one will miss out.

Best wishes,

Gabby

SROC Secretary
